BATMOYA is a contributional website to the Month of the Young Adolescent. Young adolescent are those between the ages of 10 and 15. Development in the arenas of social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development is addressed. Special attention is paid to social and emotional factors, as well as risk factors associated with teenage behavior. Links to other websites for videos and other related texts are also located on this website to provide further information.

Betty Norris is in the Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Learning (BSTL) Program at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Mrs. Norris will graduate from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in the spring of 2013. Mrs. Norris has plans to teach higher elementary school.
Amanda DeJarnette is a student at the School of Education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Amanda is working on a Bachelor of Science in Middle-Childhood Education with and emphasis in Language Arts and Social Studies.
Tina Britton is currently a Head Start Center Director/Teacher working on a P-4 Early childhood degree.
